This palazzo pants with hem panel is traditionally hand painted with a wax resist dyeing technique, named Batik. Using Behati’s signature hibiscus block with hand wax cracking technique that resembles the beach waves. The wordings is silk-screen printed on silk cotton taffeta fabric, with writings in Malay poetry line ‘Pulanglah Aku ke Pulau Sepanjang Zaman’, that translates ‘Return me back to the island forever’, storying a desperate feeling to escape to the island forever.
